Will James Harden really return to Houston: here’s his answer

James Harden is considering a return to the Houston Rockets in free agency, at least according to NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski ESPN’s.

The Philadelphia 76ers superstar was asked to comment on these shocking rumors, and Harden had a rather strong response to the rumors.

Shortly before the Sixers’ Christmas Day victory over the New York Knicks, reporters asked Harden to share his thoughts on the rumors that made headlines. The former league MVP quickly shot down, saying he is thrilled to be a Sixers player.

Not surprisingly, Harden was asked the same questions again after the 119-112 victory at Madison Square Garden. The 10-time All-Star used the opportunity to double down on his previous statement as he further refuted Woj’s report:

“I’m here, we’re playing very well. I don’t know where the rumors came from, but I’m excited to be here, we’re playing well and we’re continuing to improve.”.

This is exactly what Sixers fans wanted to hear. Also, if you know Harden’s history, you would know that his statements are not always written in stone.
