When will Draymond Green return to the court? Here are the timelines

The rest of the NBA world may be divided over the league’s opinion of Draymond Green’s reinstatement. Golden State Warriors fans, however, are certainly excited to see the return of a key member of the dynasty. But the question is, when will he return to play?

“Green is expected to be with the Warriors next Sunday (not today) for the first time since his suspension began in mid-December, according to sources.”, reported Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. “After Golden State’s Draymond Green was reinstated by the league, he is expected to need about a week to prepare for his return to the court, sources tell ESPN.”, he added in a separate post.

It was always going to be difficult to make predictions about Green’s return, given the delicate nature of his suspension and absence. The NBA is clearly pleased with the effort the four-time champion has been making since he began a counseling program.

Green was suspended indefinitely and missed the Warriors’ last 12 games for hitting Jusuf Nurkic on Dec. 12. The 33-year-old has stirred up controversy for most of his career, but he is particularly feeling the heat from his recent indiscretions.
