Over the course of the summer, multiple sources have talked about the intense work of Russell Westbrook to improve his shooting.

During one of the first interviews of the season, the Lakers point guard was asked about these particular workouts. Westbrook answered of not having done any specific work but that he will simply have to be more patient, avoiding forcing: \”The thing that matters most is the quality of shots. I have been working on minimizing bad shot choices by attacking the iron more.\”
Russell Westbrook said today he didn\’t adjust his shooting form in the offseason, merely working on being patient and relaxed: \”The quality of shots is important. Making sure I\’m not taking the bad ones is something I try to emphasize, attacking the basket.\”

We will see if through technical growth or better shot selection Russell Westbrook can raise the disastrous percentages of last season.
