Victor Wembanyama tonight showed why some think he can become the greatest player ever in the 132 to 121 victory over the Phoenix Suns of Kevin Durant, but still without Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
The Frenchman finished with 38 points (career high) and 10 rebounds, playing just under 35 minutes. His percentages from the field are more than good as he took 26 shots and scored 15 times, finishing 3 of 6 from long distance, not bad for someone of his size. Wembanyama also added 2 assists, 1 rebound and 2 stoppages. vs. Durant’s Phoenix Suns.

In these first 5 days in the NBA he has already shown that he can be a determining factor for the San Antonio Spurs and that he is already ready to try to take the Texans at least to the play-in. They started 3-2 and have already beaten 2 times the Suns, one of the favorites for the final victory, despite being without 2 of its phenomena.
Another curious fact is that it was the first teenager to put together certain numbers since Kevin Durant, right in front of Kevin Durant’s eyes. Let’s see if he can keep up these numbers the more than likely rookie of the year!
