News had circulated in the afternoon of a heart attack suffered by Dejan Milojevic, Serbian assistant coach of the Golden State Warriors: just now various Serbian media have unfortunately announced the death of the man, who had been hospitalized for nearly 24 hours in critical condition. Milojevic was 46, had been a player in Europe before becoming a coach, and had joined Steve Kerr’s staff since 2021.
The NBA had already decided to postpone today’s game between the Warriors and Jazz, but given the tragic news it is likely that Golden State will stay put longer to get over the grief.
