Bad news for the Los Angeles Lakers on the sidelines of the 126-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
The yellowviola had to give up Anthony Davis for the entire first half. The long man hurt his right foot during a game-winning penetration against Nikola Jokic after only five minutes. Davis then gritted his teeth and played the rest of the first half, enough to finish with 10 points and four rebounds.
But then he did not return from the locker room, and his condition is making the Lakers anxious. From early rumors, however, it appears that he is not nothing serious but the instrumental examinations of the next few hours will dispel any doubts.
Meanwhile, gialloviola fans remain with bated breath, as do LeBron James who commented on the news thus.
We hope well for him and for all of us. Our game is based on all the players we have. If Davis is not there we will adjust accordingly but we haven’t played much without him so we don’t know exactly how things might go.
