Fontecchio finally gets back on the court–though briefly

After 7 games sitting on the bench without setting foot on the court, tonight Simone Fontecchio finally returned to the Salt Lake City floor, even if only for 5 minutes and 8 seconds. The former Baskonia and Alba Berlin youngster failed to make an impact in the contest because he has so many 0s on his scoreboard and only one rebound.

The positive news is that he still returned to play, albeit very briefly. The Utah Jazz eventually won against the Cleveland Cavaliers of former Donovan Mitchell, who scored 46 points after 71 a few days ago.

The best player on the court for the Jazz was Jordan Clarkson., who put up 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Very good once again was the Finaldese Lauri Markkanen, who finished with a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds.

As you can see from the final score, 116 to 114, the match was very close. Donovan Mitchell tried to win it to the last, so much so that he made an essentially useless triple with 5 tenths to go.

Surely in Utah they will have regretted the phenomenon with the #45 on his back that did so well in Salt Lake City however basketball is like that, you have to move on to try to create even more winning teams. Hopefully Fontecchio can get closer in time to what Mitchell was for the Jazz.
