Pascal Siakam traded to Pacers in a trade with Raptors and Pelicans

For the past few weeks, after OG Anunoby was traded to the Knicks, there had been persistent talk of Pascal Siakam, also departing. Earlier i Toronto Raptors have squared off to cede the Cameroonian, MIP in the 2018-19 season, to the Indiana Pacers. As part of the deal, Indiana will receive Siakam in exchange for Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora and three first-round draft picks, two from 2024 and one from 2026. Toronto in addition will also take Kira Lewis from New Orleans.

The trade will go like this:

  • Indiana receives: Pascal Siakam, a second-round pick from the Pelicans
  • Toronto receives: Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora, Kira Lewis, three first-round picks (two in 2024 and one in 2026)

Siakam to Pacers will find Tyrese Haliburton: Indiana is currently sixth with a 23-17 record. The player is set to expire in the summer and had let it be known that he would not renew with the Sacramento Kings, the other team accosted to him these days, should the Pacers close the deal with the California franchise.
