Shaquille O’Neal, one of the most iconic players in NBA history, said he prefers Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to Luka Doncic, two young stars who respectively play one for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the other for the Dallas Mavericks.
On TNT’s pregame show, while discussing who was the best guard in ‘NBA, Shaq was asked to choose between SGA and Doncic and he chose the Canadian for one reason in particular
“I will have to choose him, SGA,” Shaq said confidently. “Luka is a fabulous player, but this guy? He plays the right way, he gets his teammates involved…”, said the former All-Star praising the young guard. “When he puts his head down and goes to the basket, no one can stop him.”
For Shaquille O’Neal, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one of the best players in the league right now, even more than Doncic.
“I’m analyzing him as it stands today. He’s definitely one of my favorite players right now, because I like stories like that: guys coming out of nowhere … He’s an amazing player because of what he’s showing.”.
Honestly it’s hard to choose because both of them are having a very good season and so we respect Shaq’s choice
