Record number of spectators at an NBA game crushed

San Antonio SpursGolden State Warriors will be played on Friday but is already in NBA history.

The match, in fact, will mark the record audience of any era for a regular season game. Higher numbers, in fact, have been recorded only for special events such as the All Star Game.

The San Antonio Spurs, as part of their 50th birthday celebration, decided to play this contest at theAlamodome, their old home, which has had its capacity increased for the occasion.

So far they are 63592 tickets sold, already breaking the record of 62046 belonging to a 1998 showdown between the Atlanta Hawks and Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls.

The goal is to sell all 65000 expected coupons and reach 68000 in attendance, considering tickets for business partners, staff members and various accreditations.
