This is the first time something like this has happened in NBA history. According to NBA communications on X (formerly Twitter), this is the first time in history where “three teams, after 81 games, all have the same record and the same chance to clinch the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences.”

With the number one seed still up for grabs, and with home-court advantage in the Western Conference Finals, the Nuggets, Thunder and Timberwolves-all three teams from the Northwest Division-are expected to give it their all for the last game of the regular season. We’ll see who makes it in the end to finish first in the Western Conference.
