Los Angeles Lakers revolutionize roster: out with Bryant and Beverley, in with Bamba

I Los Angeles Lakers completed two trades in the final hours of the market before the deadline, one with the Denver Nuggets and the other with the Orlando Magic.

In the first, the Lakers traded center to Denver. Thomas Bryant, who arrived in the summer in free agency. Long was reportedly unhappy with losing many minutes after Anthony Davis returned from injury. LA will receive in return Davion Reed and three second-round draft picks.

But then the yellow-purple essentially replaced Bryant with Mo Bamba, acquired in the second trade with the Magic. As part of the same trade, the Lakers traded away. Patrick Beverley and a second-round draft pick in Orlando.

Added to these trades is, of course, the Russell Westbrook trade, which closed last night with the Jazz and Timberwolves.
