LiAngelo Ball ruled off Charlotte Hornets roster for Summer League

The NBA Summer League in Salt Lake City and San Francisco, the better-known one that will be played in Las Vegas through July 17.

In the Nevada event, however, there will be no LiAngelo Ball who had distinguished himself in Charlotte’s jersey in the last edition. Good performances had not been enough for the brother of Lonzo and LaMelo to convince the Hornets to give him an NBA contract, sending him to the D-League with the Greensboro Swarm affiliate.

LiAngelo will not get another chance to showcase himself this year, having been ruled out of Summer League after testing positive for Covid-19. In the event of a quick negative, however, the player could be available again for the final stages of the tournament.
