The Washington Wizards in this start of the season are one of the worst NBA teams. Last night against Toronto came the third consecutive defeat and the eighth in 10 games so far. This time, however, the knockout was hair-raising, since with only 5′ to go Washington was ahead by 10 points and had even been up +23 during the third quarter. In the final minutes, however, everything happened, including a 16-0 run by the Raptors to close out the game. Part of the blame, even much of it to tell the truth, lies with Kyle Kuzma. The wing, who had scored 34 points up to that point, was in fact distracted to return toward the bench, demanding that his own coach call challenge for the assignment of the remittance.
While Kuzma was busy talking to Wes Unsled, Siakam beat the throw-in and the Raptors easily scored the -8 in 5vs4. The inertia at that point had shifted all on the side of the Raptors, who eventually won the match 107-111.
