Kevin Durant is “touchy” about how he uses social media but he doesn’t accept that label!

Phoenix Suns wing Kevin Durant has gotten a bit of flak during his playing career, but he doesn’t seem to understand why. In Durant’s eyes, he simply jokes on social media (mainly Twitter) just like every other player, but he is the only one who has the label of “susceptible” to use.

So when asked why during an interview with FOX Sports, Kevin Durant believes it goes back to the time he decided to join the Golden State Warriors in the summer of 2016.

“Come on, you know what happened. Why I went to the Warriors.”, Durant told FOX Sports. “People still don’t like that part of my career. People want to shut me up for some reason. I mean, I can’t pinpoint exactly why. Chere are many players, in many sports, who interact with their people on Twitter, Instagram, social and I don’t hear them calling them ‘touchy-feely’ “.

Durant elaborates on being labeled as sensitive, even naming some of those players who are active on the platforms.

“Just to name a few: Damian Lillard, LeBron James, Draymond Green, I see a lot of great players in our league talking on social media, but I don’t understand that being called ‘touchy’ “.
