Andrew Wiggins will be available again for Game 1 vs. Sacramento

For nearly two weeks Andrew Wiggins is back with the team, after the player had been away from the Golden State Warriors for nearly two months for “personal problems”. These problems were later found to be related to the health condition of Wiggins’ father, who was seriously ill. However, the player did not take the court in the last 3 games of the regular season, when Golden State managed to avoid the Play-in by finishing sixth and earning the match-up against the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the Playoffs.

Wiggins, however, has been cleared by the staff and will be regularly available to Steve Kerr on the Italian night between Saturday and Sunday for Game 1 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. It will be the Warriors wing’s first game since Feb. 13 and he will likely come off the bench playing 20-25 minutes. Wiggins averaged 17.1 points on the season, with him the team won 19 of 37 games.
