Kenneth Lofton Jr, INCREDIBLE G-League Performance.

Kenneth Lofton Jr. a few weeks ago had signed a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz, although so far he has never taken the court with his new team. Instead, he is doing so in the G-League, where he wears the jersey of the Salt Lake City Stars turning out one of the best players in the league. Lofton Jr this season has played 17 games in the NBA between Memphis and Philadelphia, while there are 15 games in the G-League where he has far different numbers: 27.8 points, 9.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists average.

Last night, in the game between Stars and G-League Ignite (a team that the NBA will cancel starting next year), Lofton Jr pulled off an absurd performance: 52 points and 16 rebounds in the 120-108 win, shooting 20/29 from the field: all in just 34′ on the hardwood.

This is not the first time Kenneth Lofton Jr has played such a contest: last year at the end of the regular season the Grizzlies gave him a chance by lining him up for 40′ against the Thunder. He responded with 42 points and 14 rebounds, by far a career-high and one of four games last season in which he went into double figures in points.
