Chris Paul tonight was ejected during the game against the Indiana Pacers for double technical. The Golden State Warriors point guard, who had 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists before his ejection, received two technical fouls in the final game, with the game almost virtually over, leaving the court with just 6.6 seconds on the clock.
In the postgame CP3 explained the very peculiar dialogue between him and referee Tony Brothers: “Old Tony was talking to me, so I talked to him, too. I called him TikToker and he gave me the first technical. I just said, “TikToker.” Then I said he had too much power and he gave me a second one.”.
Evidently a provocation that Brothers did not like at all. Paul after the race also used his Instagram profile to give context to the provocation. In the stories, Chris Paul posted a video of an interview with Tony Brothers taken from TikTok itself.
Chris Paul said Tony Brothers gave him a technical foul for calling him a “Tik Tokker.” He was referencing this video, which is on Paul’s instagram story now.
