The Big Three of the Phoenix Suns played together for the first time but their debut did not go well.
For the first time Kevin Durant, Devin Booker e Bradley Beal played together. Until now Phoenix had never been able to field its stars at the same time because of the physical problems that had affected them in turn. Tonight in the match against the Brooklyn Nets came the Big Three’s debut, defeated 116-112.
The Nets stretched out in the early going, got caught up after halftime but managed to take the match at home in the finale. Booker was the top scorer with 34 points (9/15 from the field), 12 assists and 6 rebounds. Durant added 27 (9/18) with 6 rebounds and 4 assists while Beal stopped at 14 (in 33 minutes) shooting 6/9 and matching 4 assists. Of note was the performance of the Suns’ fourth star, Jusuf Nurkic, author of 15 points with 22 rebounds.
