Dwight Howard told TMZ Sports that he was seriously considering joining the WWE, explaining that he would leave the basketball court this year to end up in a wrestling ring if the financial offer was right.
Howard proved in July that he definitely has the skills to be a top wrestler, delivering an epic promo after auditioning for WWE in Nashville.
In fact, Dwight said that if the offer how to wrestle in WWE was better than that of an NBA team, he might listen to it and then accept it, he would have no qualms about taking it.
“Whatever opportunity will be the best, I will accept it.”, said the NBA free agent.
“The ball is in his court.”, said Triple H… “He came to our auditions in Nashville, it was incredibly fun, ending up in promos by himself and then with the others, incredibly fun.”
“So when he says, ‘Hey, I want to try out,’ he has my phone number. All he has to do is call me and we’ll see what can happen.”
Let’s see if this is a late summer boutade or one of the best NBA centers of the 21st century really will end his sports career in wrestling, saying goodbye to the NBA forever.
