EXPULSED Draymond Green for a half-hearted scuffle with Donovan Mitchell

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was punished with his first ejection of the season after a heated moment with Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell.

Midway through the third quarter, Mitchell charged Green and shoved him, which the Warriors wing did not like. Dray then confronted the Cavs superstar as both players looked at each other face-to-face in a particularly heated moment.

For those who missed it, however, it all started on the previous play, when Green appeared to push Mitchell, causing him to run off the field.

The referees proceeded to review the sequence of plays that led to the heated moment. As the two continued their war of words, safety was among them, the referees eventually ruled that Donovan Mitchell’s foul on Draymond Green was a normal foul. In the Warrior’s case, however, he was given a technical foul for his earlier push on the Cavs’ scorer.

As this was the second technical of the night for Draymond Green, after receiving the first for arguing with a referee in the first quarter, he received precisely the ejection.
