John Wall is (was) one of the best NBA point guards of the 2000s-10s, but constant injuries have greatly limited his performance in recent seasons, and yesterday he was hinted by Basket News to EA7 Milan.
The American did not take long to deny the news, even making an official tweet (or post, in the new version of X):

Wall is looking for an NBA team after going through several workouts with different franchises. Should he be unable to find a team, perhaps he might consider approving in Europe but it is probably too early to make such thoughts.
Right now. EA7 Milan would not need John Wall in this market because it is fully booked in the point guard department with Kevin Pangos, Maodo Lô and Diego Flaccadori. But John Wall is John Wall. The American is one of those players who, if healthy, can win you competitions.
Let’s see if this was literally a market boutade by the European news paper or there will be developments in the coming weeks. Surely Milan needs a small wing change more than a point guard, with always Nikola Mirotic in the background ready to sign. At least, that’s the rumor.
