Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have had a difficult season so far with the Golden State Warriors, especially after facing several controversies, difficult shooting moments and a recent 52-point loss to the Boston Celtics.
The month of November 2023 was particularly memorable for Green, as he had a major physical confrontation with Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert that led to a five-game suspension for the Californians’ player.
Despite the suspension, Green has made sure he is in shape by hitting the gym. In his recent appearance on the podcast “7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero,” Green told an interesting story about one of his trips to the gym.
“The Bay Bridge was closed. There was a protest on the Bay Bridge. They tried to get a police escort, but they couldn’t get across. Klay came with his boat and picked me up in Jack London Square in Oakland.”, recalled Green as the hosts laughed in the background.

The story did not offer much more, although Green did mention that he had footage of the incident. Most importantly, Draymond Green joined Klay Thompson on his boat for the first time, despite the guard’s longtime love of boating.
