Anthony Edwards, star of the Minnesota Timberwolves, was forced to start from the bench against the Portland Trail Blazers. The reason? The 22-year-old missed the two-ball and was replaced by Nickeil Alexander-Walker in the starting lineup. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves received a violation for delay of game.
“I lost track of time.”, said Edwards, who usually spends much of the pre-game warm-up doing resistance exercises outside the team’s locker room.

Of course, this did not affect the final result, partly because the Minnesota lineup still won at home against the Portland Trail Blazers. It’s these little things that turn a good player into a champion, though.
Anthony Edwards, to tell the truth, did not even play an excellent game because he finished with only 13 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists in almost 35 minutes, not much for someone of his level.
This was the first time Anthony Edwards started a game off the bench since his rookie season. And let’s just say it was definitely not Coach Chris Finch’s idea not to start him in the quintet, but Ant-Man “self-imposed” it.
