Denver Nuggets superstar, Nikola Jokic, gave a rather straightforward answer when asked if he could team up with his great friend Luka Doncic. However, judging from Jokic’s answer, it would be on his terms, with Doncic expected to join the Nuggets.
“I don’t know if it’s possible. Certainly I have no intention of leaving Denver. I like being there and it’s a great organization. But if Luka has problems with Dallas, he is absolutely welcome to stay with us.”.
“I don’t want to leave Denver… If Luka gets pissed off in Dallas, he can come.”
Nikola Jokic says he’d be open to teaming up with Luka Doncic but only on the Nuggets.

Jokic had a great time with Doncic during NBA All-Star Weekend and their close friendship was known beforehand.
It really seems very difficult to us that this could happen quickly but never say never because the NBA world has given us great surprises, especially in the last decade. We never imagined a Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors, for example, yet this summer it happened.
Let’s see what will happen between now and the next 2-3 years because Luka will soon be 25 years old and he is looking forward to being able to raise an NBA title, although it will not be easy at all given the huge competition around him.
