Cam Thomas Has been playing incredible since Kyrie Irving left the Brooklyn Nets.
Crazy what happened in Brooklyn after Irving’s farewell. In the three games played so far without him, the Nets have received tremendous contributions from Cam Thomas. 44 points vs. Washington, 47 with i Clippers, 43 trimmed to the Suns. Of those three contests, however, Brooklyn managed to win only with the Wizards, then losing to LA and Phoenix.
There remains, however, the resounding explosion of Thomas, who took full advantage of the greater space given to him by Coach Vaughn. Now it will have to be seen how (and if) newcomers Dorian Finney-Smith and Spencer Dinwiddie will be inserted into the rotations or if anything else will change on the Nets’ roster.
For now, Thomas is enjoying the satisfaction of becoming the youngest ever to score at least 40 points in three consecutive games. Not bad for a sophomore who is averaging 10 points per game this year.
