Last night, right during the game that saw LeBron James become the top scorer in NBA history, Russell Westbrook allegedly got into a fight with Darvin Ham. in the locker room at halftime. The object of contention was the coach’s discontent with the ball handling of his point guard, who was benched in the last minutes of the second quarter. And who knows whether this rift is also at the root of the trade that is materializing in these minutes between Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves..
According to reports by Shams Charania, with this trade the Lakers would bring back to California D’Angelo Russell. Just Westbrook would thus be traded from the yellow-purple to the Jazz along with draft picks to be specified. Minnesota would finally receive Mike Conley from Utah.
Also included in the negotiation could be. Malik Beasley e Jarred Vanderbilt, who would both end up at the Lakers. More details will follow.
Ongoing discussions have included Utah’s Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt as part of the potential three-team deal to the Lakers, sources said. Sides are working through pick protections and additional draft compensation too, per sources. https://t.co/DoI0EBOBVq

Should everything go smoothly, the Jazz would likely agree to a buyout with Westbrook, who is set to expire in the summer.
