The Houston Rockets earned a 112-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, but a cloud of uncertainty hangs over the team because of what happened in the fourth quarter. With less than a minute left in the game, Alperen Sengun was wheeled off the court in a wheelchair after injuring his ankle and knee.
Sengun tried to thwart a layup attempt by Kings big man Domantas Sabonis, causing him to fall awkwardly during the landing. Now Rockets fans are anxiously waiting for the center to undergo evaluation procedures. Sengun will undergo an MRI today on his right knee and ankle, according to reports from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The possible absence of Alperen Sengun would hurt the Rockets, currently vying for a playoff spot. Currently, Houston is 11th in the Western Conference with a 29-35 record. They lag behind the Golden State Warriors (33-30), who hold the last playoff spot with more than a month left in the regular season. Without Turk we imagine it impossible for them to make it to where they would like to be.
