Houston apprehensive about Alperen Sengun: leaves the field in WHEELCHAIR

Alperen Sengun just a few days ago played his best career game, scoring his own career-high against San Antonio. Icing on the cake to a stellar season so far by the Houston Rockets’ Turk, who so far is maintaining 21.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists on average. Now, however, the fear is that Sengun may have suffered a serious injury, on the night he is in fact even left the field in a wheelchair after a stoppage attempt against Sacramento.

Sengun fell badly on his ankle, which twisted unnaturally, the center remained on the ground for a while and then was precisely made to sit in a wheelchair. In the coming hours, tests will tell us more about the extent of the injury. Although the Rockets are 11th in the West and practically out of the Play-in race as well, it would be a real shame if such a positive season as the Turk’s was “tainted” by a serious injury.
