Tough time for the Dallas Mavericks e Luka Doncic. Against the Minnesota Timberwolves came the fifth loss in the last seven games.
A night to forget for Doncic, who finished with only 19 points (season low) and a modest 5/17 shooting but more importantly was sent to the locker room During the third quarter.
After calling for a foul (which wasn’t there) the Slovenian picked up a technical and while walking to a stoppage in play he was whistled for another. Same fate for coach Jason Kidd who followed his star player to the locker room.
After the game Doncic commented very clearly on the decision.
I probably deserved the first technical but certainly not the second, it was too much. I am honest, the first one was there but the next one absolutely not, I was surprised when they ejected me.
Kidd in fact chose not to comment, “I’d rather not say anything, already this expulsion is going to cost me a lot of money, I wouldn’t want to bring up more.”
