When Nikola Jokic won his first title last year many put him on the list of best centers. After all, besides the championship ring, he also has two MVP awards. While some are convinced that Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic may already be the best five of all time, Lou Williams is not among them. In a recent episode of FanDuel TV’s Run It Back program, the three-time Sixth Man of the Year revealed who he thinks is the greatest center to ever play the game.
“Is he (Jokic) the best center of all time?”, co-host Michelle Beadle asked Williams and Chandler Parsons.
“I still live in a world where Shaquille O’Neal is the best center I’ve ever seen.”, Williams replied. “Full stop, there is no science to it.”
The former NBA veteran also explained what it would take for him to consider Jokic as such.
“The day I see Nikola Jokic break a backboard, I mean….” Williams added with a chuckle..
