Russell Westbrook doubled down on Luka Doncic during Saturday’s showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks.
Midway through the fourth quarter, with the Clippers leading 98 to 81, Westbrook attacked the basket with authority and tested Doncic’s defense. The Mavs star posed no defensive threat, allowing Russ to get to the iron without too much opposition. To make matters worse, the Slovenian was whistled for a foul by the referees, thus giving the extra free throw to the former Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City Thundrr.
As if that were not enough, Westbrook yelled at his Clippers teammates telling them to “go to him,” meaning to keep attacking Doncic and his defense, which was nonexistent at that point. A real lack of respect!
