Pecco Bagnaia has graduated MotoGP world champion for the second time in his career. The Ducati rider won today’s race in Valencia, the icing on the cake of another fantastic season, a spectacular but unnecessary victory since his rival, Spaniard Jorge Martin, crashed with 22 laps to go.
However, Bagnaia, the new symbol of MotoGP in Italy after the retirement of Valentino Rossi (his friend, by the way), is also a huge basketball fan. It was a well-known fact, and in the past the Turin driver himself had paid tribute to a basketball great like Dennis Rodman by wearing a custom case. Today, after winning the World Championship, he did more: to celebrate, he dunked a basket on the sidelines., a tribute to his second passion after motorcycles.
