Wembanyama breaks two crazy records but San Antonio can’t win anymore

That’s 16 consecutive losses for the San Antonio Spurs.

The Texans have only won three times so far but seem to be unable to bring home a positive result. They can’t even do it on the best nights of Victor Wembanyama who broke a couple of crazy records tonight.

San Antonio didn’t need just +9 late in the first quarter to return to success, the Chicago Bulls impose themselves in a comeback 121-112. The Frenchman, however, turned in a historic performance with 21 points and 20 rebounds. In doing so, he became thehe youngest person ever to make a 20+20 game in the NBA. He took the record away from Dwight Howard who had succeeded when he was only four days older (19 years and 238 days for the transalpine, 19 years and 242 days for the former Superman).

Wemby, however, also added 4 stoppages and 4 assists, putting him in the small circle of rookies to sign a 20+20+4+4. Joining him on the club are Shaquille O’Neal, Dikembe Mutombo, Patrick Ewing, Bill Walton, Ralph Sampson and David Robinson, as noted by Sportando. The Admiral, until tonight, was the only black-silver rookie on this elite list; now the French phenom has joined him.
