Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs are rumored to be one of the teams traveling to France for next year’s NBA Game in Paris 2025. Nothing is final yet. But the mere possibility is already capturing the imagination of prized rookie Victor Wembanyama, a 20-year-old generational prospect originally from Le Chesnay, France.
When asked about the possibility of playing a regular season game in Paris in 2025, the Spurs rookie reacted excitedly, demonstrating how much of a privilege it will be for the team if he gets to go to one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations.
“If it happens, it will probably be one of the most intense and valuable games of my life.” Wembanyama said, adding that he and the Spurs would be “very, very lucky” if they succeeded in finalizing their contract with the league, according to reports from Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News..

It is clear that fans will flock to Accor Arena in droves if Victor Wembanyama is one of the players who will travel to Paris 2025 with the NBA once a year.
After all, Wembanyama’s hometown of Le Chasnay is only 30 minutes away from where the game will be played, so it would not be too complicated for his family to come and support him in what would be his second season in the NBA.
