Chet Holmgren tied the game with a last-second shot in the fourth quarter. In the end, the Golden State Warriors lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime. After the loss, Steph Curry admitted that frustration is starting to set in at the Warriors. This is Golden State’s sixth home loss in seven games this season and eighth overall.
“It’s tough. You hate losing games, no matter where, especially at home. The criteria of playing at home has been established. We have different challenges this year that we have to overcome to be competitive in the standings at the end of the season. I hate to see that 1-5, 1-6, whatever it is, I hate to see it, but it doesn’t mean we can’t turn it around.”, Steph Curry said about the Warriors’ situation.
“With a losing streak like this, there is definitely urgency. Whenever you lose so much in a row, it’s a problem you have to solve. You don’t want to develop a losing mentality at any point in the season. It’s a stink you never want to have in the locker room.“, the player explained.
The Warriors were without Draymond Green, who is serving a five-game suspension for choking Rudy Gobert during a game earlier in the week. Green will be forced to remain on the bench for three more contests.
