VIDEO: Lillard ‘steals’ All-Star Game MVP from Haliburton and gets a RAIN OF FIZZES in Indiana

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard proved to be the biggest star of all at the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, earning the Kobe Bryant MVP of the 2024 NBA All-Star Game award. However, many in attendance at Gainbridge Fieldhouse did not seem to approve of Lillard winning the game’s MVP award.
Lillard was showered with booing as he received the MVP award as fans probably expected Tyrese Haliburton to win the trophy. After all, Haliburton plays for the Indiana Pacers..

There is no denying, however, that the Bucks guard had an outstanding game. He led the Eastern team with 39 points, shooting 14 of 26 from the field, including 11 3-point shots on 23 attempts from behind the arc. Haliburton, on the other hand, was no different: he finished with 32 points with 11 of 15 from the field and 10 of 14 from three-point range. Jaylen Brown, on the other hand, came off the bench and put up 36 points for East, which won the high-scoring match 211 to 186.

Perhaps they could have awarded MVP Tyrese Haliburton instead of Lillard so they could have at least seen and heard applause in an All-Star Game that had no meaning to exist.
