There were some low-level altercations between Kyrie Irving and Dillon Brooks during tonight’s match between Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies.
It was the Grizzlies who emerged victorious after the hard-fought battle, with the final score of 112 to 108, and it appears that the pair buried the hatchet after the final buzzer.
Irving and Dillon Brooks even decided to exchange jerseys after the game as a sign of their sportsmanship. The only problem is that Irving refused to take Brooks’ jersey.:

This is behavior in true Kyrie Irving style. You can clearly see Uncle Drew handing his jersey to Brooks, and the pair even hugged shortly afterward. Whether intentional or not, Kyrie did not take Brooks’ jersey, making it an awkward one-way jersey exchange.
Brooks has emerged as one of the biggest villains in the league today, and NBA Twitter was more than happy to tear into the Grizzlies player after this rather awkward moment:

Kyrie is not exactly the most beloved individual in the NBA — far from it, actually — but he seems to have gained a few more fans after this moment.
