When the Golden State Warriors needed someone to step up, besides Steph Curry, Klay Thompson answered the call against Sacramento and showed everyone why he is a Splash Brother.
Tonight, against the Sacramento Kings, Thompson made the winning basket, giving the Warriors a 102 to 101 lead just 2 tenths end of the fourth quarter. With the Kings leading by one point with five seconds left, the Dubs had one last chance to take the lead. With Curry tagged, however, Golden State had to give the ball to another player and they went to the other Splash Brother.
Thompson did not hesitate to release the ball, quickly shooting a pull-up jumper for the decisive basket.

For Klay Thompson it was a tough night. He finished with only 14 points with 6 of 15 from the field and 1 of 4 from distance. However, what matters is the way he closed out the game, and it certainly could not have gone any better than that.
With the win against Sacramento, Golden State moved to 4-1 on the season, with the only loss coming in the season opener against Kevin Durant’s Phoenix Suns. They already have four consecutive wins, two of them against the Kings.
