According to EuroDevotion, Simone Fontecchio could play for the Utah Jazz next season. In recent days, the 1995 class had ended up in the crosshairs of the Los Angeles Lakers, who, however, at the moment have not made any concrete proposal to the player. The Jazz, on the contrary, appeared to have offered Fontecchio a two-year contract.
Last season, with Saski Baskonia, the Pescara player maintained an average of 11 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in the twenty-two Euroleague games played. In Liga ACB, on the other hand, Fontecchio has taken the floor thirty-eight times while maintaining 12.5 points and 3.7 rebounds average. Currently, the national team guard has a three-year contract with the Basque club, a contract that, however, includes the possibility for the player to exercise a rescission clause in case of offers from NBA clubs.
