Tyrese Maxey fourth best player in NBA, LeBron James 20th

With the departure of James Harden, Tyrese Maxey has become even more of a star player for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Maxey is traveling at over points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists per game average. Numbers that, along with the team’s results, have pushed HoopsHype to place it at the fourth place in the ranking of the best players in the entire NBA, as noted by Dunkest.

Periodically the specialized portal updates its ranking, combining the individual performances of athletes with the results obtained by their franchise, as explained here. Thus, a ranking that has specific criteria but has generated several discontents from fans on social media.

By many, Maxey is still not considered at the level (or even above) some super stars. And seeing LeBron James in 20th place is also curious, as is Alperen Sengun’s 14th position.

Below is the current ranking of HoopsHype, updated continuously.

The best player of the last seven days is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, followed at a great distance by Jokic and Haliburton.
