On April Fool’s Day, a ruckus ensued when rumors spread that Bronny James, who has not exactly lived up to expectations in his freshman season at USC (it is important to note that the mere fact that he was able to return to the court after a cardiac arrest is a major victory in itself), will enter the transfer portal. Although there is nothing official yet, the latest words from Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James may hint that Bronny may be seriously considering transferring.
Speaking to reporters after the Lakers’ 128 to 111 victory over the Toronto Raptors tonight, James left a cryptic clue about the road ahead for his beloved first-born son.
“I don’t know where these rumors are coming from. Bronny is a grown man. He has some tough decisions to make, and when he is ready to make them, he will let us know. But as a family, we all support whatever he does.” James stated, via Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
