The franchises NBA see their own value from year to year.
Not even the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic have stopped the NBA’s growth process. This is also evidenced by the recent case of the Phoenix Suns, for whom a 3 billion bid was submitted. The value of the Suns grew 50 percent in one year, making the Arizona franchise the 13th largest in the NBA.
The first place in the 2022 rankings compiled by Sporty is the Golden State Warriors ($7.56 billion) who overtook the New York Knicks (6.58), third the Lakers with 6.44. Abysmal distance with fourth, the Bulls (4.09), then Celtics (3.92) and Nets (3.86). The New Orleans Pelicans are the team worth the least (1.63 billion), “slightly” less than the Grizzlies (1.67).
