The Orlando Magic jumped out to a 67-32 lead over the Hornets at halftime. Charlotte made a respectable comeback attempt, but could not overcome the obstacle.
Five Orlando players reached double figures, with Cole Anthony scoring 21 points. Jalen Suggs put up 16 points, while Franz Wanger, Moritz Wagner and Paolo Banchero all scored 11 or more points. In addition, Orlando out-rebounded Charlotte 41-30 and made 92.3 percent of free throws.
The team extended its winning streak to four games after beating the Hornets and is just scratching the surface of its potential. Orlando has a well-rounded and deep roster full of good/great players on all fronts.
If the Magic can avoid the NBA Play-In Tournament, they will be a tough team to face in the playoffs. The lineup wants to continue to close out the regular season well to prepare for a limitless playoff run.
