Steph Curry sends touching message to Andre Iguodala after retirement

After Andre Iguodala officially ended his career, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry made sure to honor his former teammate and show him the love and respect he deserves.

On Instagram, Curry shared a rather touching message paying tribute to Iguodala and the incredible career he had. Iggy has been a key part of the Warriors’ four NBA championships, even winning Finals MVP in 2015, his first title year. Although his numbers dropped in the latter part of his career, his veteran presence, versatility, and defense had a big impact on the Dubs.

Curry has shown his appreciation for Iguodala and all he has done for the Golden State Warriors. The two have become more than just teammates and this is evident by the bond they share off the court as well.

“You already know what #9 is! You’ve done your duty on and off the field and I appreciate everything you’ve done for me, the Dubs, the league-you’ve carried a bright flashlight! And what’s coming up should be the best sequel in a while. Love, brother! Save a tee time for me.”, Curry wrote alongside several photos of him and Iguodala.
