Le game modes available are 2: Classic and Draft modes.
Classic Mode
95 credits to build your team with your favorite players. Each player can belong to multiple fantasy teams, but the teams are secret until the start of the Day.
Before you start choosing the players who will be part of your fantaroster, however, we want to introduce you to the 7 basic NBA Dunkest fantasy basketball rules for the classic mode
- Create up to 5 fantasy teams: You have 95 Dunkest credits to compose your team with 10 players and 1 coach.
- Non-exclusive roster: you can compose your team with any player (respecting the budget) even if already in possession of other users. However, no one will be able to view your team and the changes you make until the Day starts.
- Private and Public Leagues: You will automatically participate in the General Championship against all users in the game, but you can also create Private/Public Championships with General Ranking or Direct Clashes to challenge your friends.
- Score: During the day, your players will receive a score based on the statistics obtained in the real game (such as points, assists, rebounds…). You can check live scores during NBA games.
- Captain, sixth man and bench: the captain multiplies his score by 1.5, the sixth man gets 100% of his score, and the bench players at the end of the day get 50% of the score achieved.
- Field-Bench Substitutions.: During a Day you can make field-bench substitutions by inserting players who have not yet taken the field in place of players you are not happy with.
- Market: Between Days you can make transfers by selling your players and buying new ones. Be careful though, each transfer will cost you a malus (5 pts) on the next day’s score!
Draft
One of the funniest parts of the Dunkest Fantabasket is the ability to create a private league in which to build your fanta team via auction, i.e. the Draft Mode. Each league may have custom features (budget, market windows, etc.).
