Shaquille O’Neal wants to own a team he played on

It is no secret that Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most successful former NBA players in the present day. The cetro Hall of Famer has made quite a fortune in his post-basketball career through all kinds of business ventures that have proven quite profitable. Right now, however, it is clear that Shaq has a burning desire to return to the NBA.

Obviously not as a player. However, 50-year-old Shaquille O’Neal has now made it abundantly clear that he wants to become the owner of one of his former teams: the Orlando Magic,

“Look, let me run that franchise again. If they want to sell it to us, the DeVos family, we’re ready to go right now.” O’Neal said on The Big Podcast. “This message goes out to the DeVos family, if you’re ready to sell the Orlando Magic, sell them to someone who will take them to the next level, that’s us. Smart people combined with savvy people and people who have been there before, you can’t go wrong.”

Shaq wants to own the Magic and has now made a public statement of his intentions. O’Neal has also announced that he intends to work with former Magic teammate Dennis Scott, who also seems to be very interested in the prospect.
