Questionable move by Dillon Brooks after ejection for foul on LBJ

The Memphis Grizzlies lost tonight to the Los Angeles Lakers despite an outstanding performance by Ja Morant. One of the main storylines of the match was Dillon Brooks’ dirty foul on LeBron James that led to a flagrant 2 and ejection. Rather than explain himself after the game, Brooks chose to remain silent, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

“Dillon Brooks declined an interview request. ‘I’m not going to talk,’ he said.”, shared MacMahon on Twitter.

Brooks will have to discuss the incident at some point. For now, he is deciding not to talk about what happened.

For those who missed it, Brooks hit James below the belt while trying to retrieve the ball in the third quarter.

There is a possibility that Dillon Brooks could receive a suspension for his hard foul on LeBron. Ja Morant addressed the possibility of Brooks’ disqualification after the game.

“With the way they treat Dillon, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he was suspended for the next challenge.”, Morant said. “I thought they ejected him because of the previous ejections inflicted in previous matches.”.

Right now they are trailing 2-1 and desperately need a win in Game 4. We will continue to provide updates on this Grizzlies-Lakers series as they become available.
