VIDEO: Dillon Brooks ejected for punching LeBron in the testicles

Dillon Brooks was ejected from the match between the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs after a hard foul on LeBron James. The referees reviewed the play and decided it was enough to kick Brooks out of the game.

As seen in the video, Dillon Brooks tries to catch the ball but intentionally hits LeBorn James below the belt. James immediately fell to the ground in pain.

Brooks and LeBron have a history with each other. In fairness, Brooks has problems with a number of players around the league. However, he recently called LeBron “old,” which caused some noise on social media. James did not respond to the insult and said. “he’s not here for this[bleep].”

Broadcasters in the Lakers-Grizzlies game brought up a good point after Brooks’ foul on LeBron. They noted that Draymond Green was recently suspended for a specific foul in part because of his reputation and history. It is possible that this is something that also entered into the decision to eject Brooks from the match given his past.

Brooks’ absence is far from ideal for the Grizzlies. He is a key player who does not lack energy for the team.
