Paul Banchero will not play any more games in this Summer League

Tonight was the first challenge between the #1 and #2 pick in the last draft, Paul Banchero and Chet Holmgren. However, the duel was not staged due to the absence of Banchero, who was kept out by the Orlando Magic. The franchise decided that the long, naturalized Italian, will not play any more games in this Summer League. No injuries underlie this choice, simply what Banchero showed was deemed enough and now the Magic want to give more space to other players, who will perhaps compete for one of the last roster spots in this handful of games.

Banchero played only two games in Summer League, both won by Orlando: the first with 17 points, the second with 23.

RJ Hampton and Admiral Schofield, already part of Orlando’s roster, will also not take part in the remaining games of this Summer League.
